As a business person, I understand why. Unlike the airlines that require payment in full, they have offered you the courtesy of putting a deposit to hold your booking until 90 days prior to the cruise. If you don’t pay at the 90 day mark, they have a better opportunity to sell your cabin without losing money on it. If they allowed you to wait any longer, they run the risk of not making the amount they expect to make. Very simple and completely spelled out in the contract you made when you paid your deposit.

The waitress pushed it and my husband said ok. I said I wanted the cheesecake, I was told I had to get the art of the table because everyone at the table had to get it. I was not happy with the art of the table, and quite frankly, my husband was pissed at the whole thing.

Our experience was horrible with the steakhouse in general and the art of the table was completely laughable. They brought out a commercial grade white cutting board with two things of dessert sauce. They painted a few dessert sauce streaks, then set a few pieces of candy on it and a hollow ball of chocolate that they broke to reveal a tablespoon of some chocolate syrup. It didn’t even last 20 seconds. This was after having to send back the Waygu steak because it was not marbled or tender. It was impossible to cut.

Carnival never sends out this type of information until close to cruise time because things frequently change.

They did on the April 17th cruise. I believe they were selling it for 29.99.

If it’s a full trip through the Panama Canal, they adjust the time several times on the trip. I think when we got to Cabo though we were stil on mountain time. I can’t remember!
