Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Does anyone have experience with this cabin? It's located under the casino and I'm concerned about noise at night. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for clarifying that for me, knowing the right terminology will definitely help in my search.
  3. I'm open to other cameras, and one of my first cameras was a Sony. Another feature I would really like to have, though, is an optical viewfinder. So often with my polarized sunglasses on, I can't see the screen and I miss the ovf. Both Panasonic cameras have it. I'll check out the RX10 IV and see if it'll work for me. Thanks for the suggestion!
  4. Thanks, maybe I'm prioritizing the pixels to much. In the long run, the low light capabilities will be more useful.
  5. Hello everyone, I have an Alaskan cruise coming up next May and I'm already in quandary about what camera to buy for this trip. I recently sold my DSLR as I'm gearing down on what I have to pack and carry around. So I'm looking at the Panasonic fz300 or the Panasonic fz80 and I'm torn between the two. I love the zoom and more pixels on the fz80 but the fz300 as weather sealing and better low light capabilities. Any suggestions or thoughts on this? I doubt if I'll get back to Alaska so I want to make the most of my photos, it's a once in a lifetime trip for me. Thanks for any info or suggestions!
  6. Thanks everyone, for the suggestions. Just so I wouldn't forget, I already have my binoculars next to my carry-on.
  7. Thank you, I was looking at that tour.
  8. Thanks, looks like there wont be a problem finding them!
  9. Thanks for the tip, Ill remember to take my binoculars.
  10. That's great to hear! thanks for the replies.
  11. I'll be in Alaska in May of 24 and would love to see eagles in the wild, in there natural habitat. Is there a specific excursion or port I should plan on doing this? or is Alaska in general there natural habitat? It's been on my bucket list for a long time and don't want to waste this opportunity. Thanks! oh, the ports are: ISP, Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Ketchikan.
