  1. if you need a hotel with shuttle both to and from the airport and port check into GoPort. They have packages that include all of this and they get very positive reviews….
  2. Be sure you put the ship name and date of sailing in the title line
  3. I realize Carnival is different….that is why I specified Royal. You can’t take a 24hr period and stretch it out over a period of time. I Just wanted people to be aware on Royal it is a straight 24hr period whether you are logged in or not….
  4. On Royal, if you just purchase a one day use, it is a continuous 24hr period. There is no logging on and off. If you buy it at 9am it will run out at 9am the next day.
  5. I am posting a list of the popular shuttles for the area……but if you are looking for a complete package for airport shuttle/hotel/cruise port/back to the airport then I recommend you check out GoPort
  6. We have AT&T…..we purchase the WiFi package on the ship….put our phones on airplane mode (VERY IMPORTANT)….turn on WiFi calling and use our phones for calls and text just like we were at home… We love to be able to send/receive calls and texts without worries
  7. I was told the area is okay in the daytime but to be very careful at night. we elected not to stay there…
  8. Also check out Park Port Canaveral….about a mile from the port with a nice paved and fenced parking lot with continuous shuttles www.parkportcanaveral.com
  9. All I can relate is our personal experience on the Jewel vs our cruises on the Wonder, Mariner and the Adventure. The WiFi on the Jewel was absolutely nowhere near the level we had on the other ships….not sure why….
  10. we have sailed out of several of the terminals at Canaveral (not 10) but they all are set up the same. You drive under the parking deck, drop off your luggage with the porters and then go up the ramp and park. There are elevators that take you down where you find the terminal doors.
  11. Just a warning…on.our last cruise on the Jewel the internet was not good and constantly going in and out all day, every day. It’s an older ship and it’s system isn’t anywhere near the newer ships….
  12. Also look into a pre-paid shuttle. Very popular option and I have seen them there as soon as the ships dock. Here is a list of some of the most used in the area…
  13. Absolutely 100% worth it at this port!!! And I love that you can reserve and pre-pay parking…
