Oh I misunderstood.

We just booked a 7 day on the Getaway out of Athens for next summer.

The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on Norwegian Cruise Line ships is 21. Guests who are 18 - 20 years of age can purchase and consume beer or wine when the ship is in international waters (3 miles out of US territorial waters). The age modification does not apply for Alaska and Hawaii sailings. The parent or legal guardian must be onboard the sailing with the young adult and present themselves at the Front Desk so they can sign the form allowing the consumption of beer and wine only. A notarized Parent Consent Form or any other document allowing for temporary guardianship for the purposes of the sailing only will not be accepted. This is from the NCL website. But I swear that I read something recently that the parents do not have to sign anything in Europe. I think you should be able to upgrade your package because you have to be 21 to get a beverage package. Unless you want to pay for an upgraded package when your son turns 21 but I am sure that is pricey onboard.

Where do you find the coupon in the My NCL section? My husband got a 10% coupon that we used for our 2023 Spring Break Cruise. He received another in the mail for 10% but it isn't showing up in his account?

Thanks for this info. I am working on group in 2024 and I didn't realize that if you take passenger 3&4 rate you don't get the 15% I need to check the math on that.

There were plenty available, but the website was only showing the 4 person balconies.

I just booked the Escape with my neighbor. We have 4 in our cabin but she only has 3. Yet in order to choose her cabin she had to book a family balcony. There is one cabin between us for 3 person occupancy but it did not allow her to choose it. I just assumed it was booked. I was on the phone with NCL for another question and they said that cabin was available. She called and they were will to give it to her but she ended up keeping the original. Seems kind of back handed to me. Why would they waste a 4 person cabin with only 3 people? That just doesn't make sense to me.

I am waiting on the $1 deposits!

Thant is what I was thinking. Obviously I don't need to book a Pride of America cruise but that seemed strange.

Did they cancel the summer cruises? Dates for this year start in November. We are on May 21 so it just makes me a little nervous.

You may not know the answer but I'll try anyway. We are in a suite. Pre-Covid, suite guests were able to get breakfast and lunch at Cagney's. I know the MDRs aren't open for B/L but since Cagney's is operational, just wondering if suite guests were at the very least getting breakfast.

They cancelled the luau in Kaui??? It doesn't make much sense. We can still book the luau on a non-NCL excursion. Has this happed to anyone?
