  1. Couldn't be me, I'm more a rum and whiskey guy. 🫠
  2. Exactly, I ran in to this situation on my most recently booked cruise. The two segments were already on sale, but the combined one wasn't. I wanted to get two credits out of it anyway, so it worked for me. I have one booking number, 2 Cruise ID numbers. I have double Oceania Club credits, $500 each segment as well as $250 SBC per segment for booking onboard. The real bonus though is that I get TWO bottles of that delicious Oceania Club wine, one for each segment.
  3. But how did it compare to Regent?
  4. Are you familiar with the Roll Call section of cruise critic?
  5. The only people I ever publicly correct are those at Terrace that try to serve themselves. I always tell them, "They'll get that for you". Fortunately my wife is generally not with me as she would crawl under the table when I do stuff like this.
  6. I was on Regatta last Sept with Jan and for the life of me I don't remember Carson Turner. Or maybe it was 22, not 23. At any rate whenever it was the CD was Leslie Jon.
  7. I've cruised with English John before, I think his last name is Clelford, or something like that. I do hope he's done at the end of this cruise. I'd almost rather have Dottie. When we last cruised with him he had a tendency to have the speaker system turned up so loud it would literally knock you out of your seat when he did the announcements. Oddly enough I have never, in 15 years of cruising on Oceania, not seen the CD run the daily Trivia team games. Including when I cruised with him before. I'm wondering if maybe he might have something and not be able to interact up close with the public.
  8. I was actually asking Traveling Gert which one they were talking about. For people new to Oceania they don't realize the difference in rooms and bathrooms between the R ships and the newer ones. All of the noise in this post about the small bathrooms and showers are moot points unless you're going on an R ship. That's why I keep asking people which ship. After reading your first post I would say you might want to consider how much you might want to eat in the room. The Concierge cat really doesn't have an acceptable place for eating, where the PH will.
  9. Are you following the Roll Call for that Cruise? Jan mentioned that Adrian is the CD for the 4-20 cruise. I don't know Adrain but she said he's very good. OOPS, never mind, I see we've already had this conversation on the Roll Call. My mistake.
  10. I've heard them, right out in front of the bar on one of the R ships. Fellow seemed to think everyone needed to hear his playlist. Unfortunately, most of it was rap & hip-hop. Obviously he really wasn't Oceania material on more than one front. No one said anything to him.
  11. DOH! and here I was thinking it meant Old Husband.
  12. Which ship are you considering? It makes all the difference.
  13. I think Vista was categorized that way from the start. Marina & Riviera on the other hand have gone through a couple of changes. Seems I remember when they came out those may have been B4s.
