  1. You just made me laugh. Chief Engineer Oystein Undrum would say the same thing about himself. There is nothing simple about either one of you. Prayers as always, Sir for you and your family.
  2. The only times you really see passengers dressed formally (and then only a few) Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve. A couple of restaurants require long pants, collared shirts and closed toed shoes for gentlemen. Relax and enjoy this special time with your family. Kids seem to grow up very quickly. Where does time go? Read your Freestyle Daily each day and plan as much or as little as you wish.
  3. Chief, A few weeks ago there was a story and pictures of her posted on another social media website. Picture with her was David Herrera, Harry Sommers other Senior Corporate Officials. General Manager Steven Jacobsen was on vacation at the time.
  4. I was thinking the same thing: @chengkp75 would know or would have a very educated guess. I am not sure about this particular cruise, but on of the Chief Engineers on the Pride is lady. There was a story on a different website posted about her.
  5. A note for you: If my friend Manoel D'Silva is onboard as the Restaurant Manager, he is celebrating 26 years with NCL.
  6. Did anything in the Tour truly stand out or amaze you? Thank you for sharing.
  7. Food Complaints see the Food and Beverage Director and/or Restaurant Manger Poor Housekeeping see the Executive Housekeeper
  8. As I have said before, RIGHT NOW the Port of Seattle only has ONE cruise ship through this weekend. Beginning next there will be cruise ships every Saturday and Sunday (2 or 3) plus several during the week. With ONE cruise ship might not be cost effective to run the Valet Program (remember the Port Valet Program is run with taxpayer money).
  9. Do you know who the Senior Hotel and Bridge Officers are. I hope the rest of your cruise goes well. Thank you for sharing your adventure.
  10. When I am ready to book a cruise, I always check the website deck plans and choose a cabin with NO public spaces above or below me and as close to the middle of the ship as possible (much smoother ride most of the time). The Sun is a unique small ship. Enjoy your cruise
  11. Remember that rehearses take place during the day for the various shows. Might be noticeable and might not be.
  12. If you plan to take the train excursion out of Skagway to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada you will need a passport. I had to fly home once from Victoria, British Columbia-- passport required. Yes it is a closed loop cruise but you might just need a passport.
  13. Just show up. One of the main dining rooms is just off of the forward elevator in the lobby.
