  1. It took over a week for our excursions to load after they changed us to Puerto Plata. Even then, half of the excursion were only there in title, with not details or ability to book. Took a few more days for them to load completely.
  2. The ships normally dock in Juneau. This link will show you what dock you are at for all the Alaska ports. Look at the port schedule and then go to the berth codes to see which dock you are at. I looked at a few Quantum sailings for Juneau and it says AS, which is the Steamship dock right downtown. https://claalaska.com/?page_id=1551
  3. You can see menus in the app though? I sail in a few weeks and can't see menus yet. No big deal as we aren't going to eat in the MDR that much but no menus in app for MDR or restaurants yet.
  4. Are you sailing soon? I can see restaurants in the app but no menus. Have not been able to see menus in the app at for this reservation.
  5. The elevators and stairs are in a separate lobby from the cabin passageways. If you have a cabin near the elevators, you will have more people traffic past your cabin. Noise will depend on the people on your sailing and whether they are courteous when they walk by your cabin. We have had many cabins near the elevators and for the most part, it wasn't an issue. We find booking in that area to be very convenient.
  6. I am one of five and when you moved out of the house, you had to take all your stuff with you! My Mom wouldn't let us leave anything. I am going to try that if I can ever get my son out of here lol 😄
  7. What ship are you sailing? The newer ships have nightlights built into the lights.
  8. Quantum class ships handle reservations a lot better than Oasis class and you should be able to make dinner reservations for the whole week. That has been our experience on multiple ships of this class. As far as the food, some like it, some don't. We find the food always is hot and fresh in CK. My DH loves the french onion soup in CK and gets it every night. I find there are more fish options in CK.. You should be able to find the menus in the app to get an idea of what they have.
  9. Yes, it is on a space available basis if you are in a JS but on Ovation, you should be able to make reservations for the whole week. Just go to the podium outside of CK once you board and they will help you with reservations.
  10. It is a rebroadcast because the Masters ran long on Sunday. Some local markets decided to cut to the 11pm news instead of running the whole concert and people went nuts! He did sound really good though. We have recorded it Sunday night and have watched some.
  11. Oh no! I hope he didn't do anymore damage. I can't imagine how mentally and physically exhausted you must be. Take care of yourself too. 🙂
  12. You get a glass 1 liter bottle in your cabin as a welcome aboard and some cabin stewards will replace it during the week, but I don't think they are supposed to. Only ship I ever had small water bottles left for us was Quantum in Alaska. There was a full case of 500ml bottles loaded in the cabinet below the Lavazza coffee machine. Not sure if that was a holdover from sailing in Singapore or what, but was nice to have.
