  1. Just cruised both RCI and Celebrity with a day in between. RCI wins hands down.
  2. I believe you should cancel any cruise planner items (which will be refunded to the credit card used) before you cancel your cruise.
  3. You can go to guest relations the night before your cruise ends and get any cash balance you have left. Most people usually need to add more cash to their account long before end of cruise.
  4. Agree...Steve and his associates are wonderful. We've been using them for years.
  5. $10.00 wasn't the price for us in February at Blue Lagoon. The hotel shuttle driver from MIA to the hotel the night before said it was $10.00pp but it ended up being $14.00pp. Perhaps I'm confusing how we paid with our stay at Hampton Inn, Elizabeth NJ in October. I'm sure that was charged to our hotel bill cause a lady offered to share her Uber and I had to run back in to the front desk and have the charge removed.
  6. Most of the time it's something that will be at turndown.
  7. The port fees have some leway but the fuel consumption comment was new to us....but makes sense.
  8. You can also get them at the terminal. Just ask a luggage handler. The tags are the strong ones just like the airlines give. Just write your cabin number or the handler will and you're good to go. Couldn't be easier.
  9. As far as the shuttle to the port they have more than one. When you sign up they know how many they have space for on each shuttle.
  10. We got there in more than enough time for our noon flight. You'll be fine just tell them of your flight time and they make sure you'll be in one of the shuttles ready to go.
  11. Enjoy the cabana. We have our 2nd one booked for May. For our extended family of 6 it was still a good deal.
  12. We've done this before and it worked out great...one of the few ship booked excursions we've done. It also included a stop at a farm house and demo of mozzarella cheese making.
  13. We're just off Explorer and had about 10-12 pier runners in St Kitts. The ship blew it's horn a few times. The next day at the Captains Corner the question was asked (by me) about the pier runners. Captain said they have guidelines as to how long they'll wait. WOW the fuel consumption was crazy (and is also the reason they ask for a contact number and actually may try to call your cell phone) but at times they've contributed to the islands population...HaHa. However he was blowing the horn at the Celebrity ship that was sailing out not for the runners.
  14. Yes...they offer a shuttle to the POM. You can only sign up for it I believe as you check in. They'll give you the times available...I think they were...10/11/12/1. We opted for the 11am and it was $14.00pp charged to our final hotel bill. It was quick and easy. Uber/Lyft may have been cheaper but this is what we decided to do last month Feb 23rd. Breakfast was fine....We enjoyed this hotel and will be staying again in May.
