Called my buyer yesterday and reminded her not to schedule her appraiser during my vacation. Of course she forgot, but I have a cruise 7 days on mariner may 6 and I dont want anyone in while I'm gone. Today googled movers and they really like one mover over others, ranked #1 so I booked with them though as always surprised at the price. Isnt that a sign you are getting old you think everything cost much less you remember. I havent moved cross country in over 20 years. For some reason I thought about 6k would move me. Tops. I dont even have a lot to move, lots of boxes. For another $1500 I could get a dedicated truck and a specific move in date. And he took off another $1300 I think as a partial pack. But I have framed pictures each needs a box. The tvs have to be boxed, and closets and bathrooms. The date can be anywhere from 2 to 12 days from friday may 17. Depends which stop of the moving truck I am. I plan to drive and stop a lot probably and get a hotel until they get there. Gave them a deposit. One step closer. Another case of sticker shock. Am I the only one always surprised how much stuff now costs?

The one on radiance they assigned to me with my inside gty was 104 sf, and only had a twin bed. Some newer ships I think might have a full bed idk. In fact I have the list of which have which beds.

Like I said I think they want fares from the airports, not 3 miles or less. I had a uber driver tell me same thing, that many uber drivers dont click on the short fares from Galveston hotels,, they wait for fares from the airports,, they want the longer trips. I know you stay in texas city so further away so they want ones like yours.

I took a taxi back after my cruise and had mentioned high rollers had a stand with their cards on the hotel desk. They said this is in violation of whatever and also reported them for violating Galveston codes. And the taxi driver removed their box and cards. If every shuttle was allowed to do this, would overflow, not allowed, so they are kinda aggressive. If it was a range, then they should have said this when I booked. Another miss. I texted so when will you be here, and they didnt know. And like i said already 15 minutes late. Clearly it didnt matter to them.

I use a paperback and put my glasses on the table. Never had a issue so far, knock on wood.

Wow I sure didnt expect prices that high. I need solo for 1 from FCO, rome to mco, Orlando. When I look on priceline I see all sorts of airlines. Finland, Sweden, names I have no familiarity with. From $650ish up. One way. Idk if it's safe to book some airlines I never heard of like Finnish air or whatever. I'm still 13 months out, cant book yet with royal or see their prices. Premium economy means you can check luggage and cancel right?

When I say difficult .. the doctors were calling me Saturday to just pull the plug. I said I wanted confirmation of what happened.. they pushed me 3 times very hard to not schedule a MRI. I had to stand firm. They said emergency had the MRI all backed up all day. I was like schedule it. Then we can discuss. I'm not going to just say oh it looks like she had a stroke. I'm still mad at myself for not knowing or doing one before her stroke. We had warnings, as I said up and down bp and oxygen levels. I'm not sure I've forgiven myself for not knowing to push for this when she had issues.

The base price does remain the same. Or go up every few months. . The pricing BEFORE the cruise is what he means is dynamic. Not onboard. Not unless you can talk them into a deal onboard, unpublished.

My mom had issues with her bp and oxygen fluctuating and imo the doctors were no help, said she was old. Tested her heart and lungs, but never did a mri. Eventually she had a large stroke. Idk if a MRI would have caught the issues that were in her head not her heart but I still feel like they missed a important test. Not easy to get a MRI. Even after her stroke took 3 days. Our hospital at least MRI hard to schedule.

I dont see the price increases like in the past, by next year will have trouble replicating the 40% yoy this year. But for now growth is going to show great.
