Agree 100%. Get Air Plus and reserve 10 months early for best seat selections. Then check monthly for aircraft or other flight changes. It's only a placeholder until ticketed.

We called Viking and asked that luggage tags be sent to our home instead of the agency. They said no problem.

We done this and MVJ usually reflects the change very quickly.

Same here, never denied access but no walkers early in the morning. They made the announcement early in the cruise as well. Despite that, early walking was happening above us and on the second morning I got up and notified the front desk. He immediately went up top and shut it down.

That will certainly be a big change (and surprise). Hopefully Viking will give people some kind of advance warning.

We think the City Wall walk in Dubrovnik is a must see. Just take the included tour into the city and get tickets to walk the wall on your own. From outside the city walls, a short walk to Fort Lovrijenac. An interesting and historic fortress with great views. Plenty of Viking shuttle opportunities to get back to the ship afterwards

Sitka actually has two different excursions. 'Scenic Sitka & Theatrical Performance' (Included) or the optional 'Scenic Sitka on Foot' which includes the Raptor Center.

I thought it was remodeled for the Chinese market. Interiors, signage, menus, etc?

Most likely jacket weather, mid-50s. We start our trip with the Bruges & Ghent Extension late March, but hopefully end in Amsterdam during tulip season mid April.

We've booked H&B, but in the opposite direction (Belgium to Holland) with the Viking pre in Belgium. We finish in Amsterdam and Keukenhof Gardens is an included excursion at the end.

This was a great overview. We're on the same cruise (Passage To Eastern Europe) next September but heading from Bucharest to Budapest. And we did book the Transylvania pre as well. Looking forward to it even more based on your reporting.

This why we no longer use a TA. The relatively small OBC isn't worth it. Disappointing to hear about the other Viking staff, but our Viking Agent is extremely knowledgeable and responsive.

Definitely has to be cleared with Viking ahead of time. And as already been mentioned, your scooter or wheelchair has to stored in your cabin (not the hallway). Plan to book an appropriate size cabin to accommodate the storage. (Jim just beat me to the storage comment)
