Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Can a US citizen take this WM Life test? If so, will it be acceptable to Celebrity?
  2. For in person tests, try Arcpoint Labs or All Clear Healthcare
  3. There are a couple of testing sites in Boston, but I’m away from home and don’t have the info with me. One is in the Seaport area, but closed weekends, so I made an appointment at a site 10-15 minutes away. I got that name on the Facebook page for Celebrity Summit. $85 per person. I think the name is AllClear Healthcare.
  4. Does the Boston cruise terminal have WiFi? We are not very technical and my husband uses an old flip phone and an iPad without data. With so much going through the ArriveCAN app and our needing testing data sent to our e-mail, I’m concerned about his accessing test results on his e-mail when in the terminal in October. Thanks, everyone!
  5. Normally, we shy away from cruise line excursions because of the size of the group as well as the (usually) higher cost. This time, it seems there are fewer options for our October cruise, so we may need to go with the cruise line. We've narrowed their offerings in Portland, Maine, to: 1) Drive through Old Port, discover warehouse district, visit Fort Williams and oldest lighthouse; and 2) Drive through Old Port, travel Maine coastline, visit oldest lighthouse, visit Kennebunkport. Any feedback would be appreciated. Please stay tuned - I'm sure I'll be back with more questions! Thank you in advance!!!
  6. I’ve heard from a friend Celebrity has an option for a test administered in the passenger’s home by a third party. She didn’t have any details. Does anyone know anything about this?
  7. Thank you to those who responded to my post. You were most helpful!
  8. Cruising on Celebrity R/T Boston and had considered their post-cruise excursion, ending at the airport after a 2-3 hour tour. Still concerned about what to do until 5–ish flight. Flight rescheduled; now after 7. Would like to check in luggage at airport, then Uber to Little Italy for a meal, but don’t know how early Alaska Air will accept bags. In 2019, had a similar plan in Chicago, after contacting corporate Alaska. Got to O’Hare and grumpy agent refused our bags until closer to flight time - I think 4 hrs. Seattle wasn’t telling them what to do!
  9. I was disappointed in Viator in Bruge, Belgium in 2019. Booked transport only from dock & buses were a farther walk at dock & not in main bus parking in Bruges. I know Viator books local vendors, but think they may look for low-ball deals. Wish I'd booked directly with local vendor.
