  1. Try calling United. Tell them EZ Air is a cruise line consolidator.
  2. My feeling is that it is better to purchase future cruise deposits wait until you get home when you have time and are not excited about the cruise to search and book. I feel it is better to book through a T.A. then on line yourself. TAs usually have some extra benefits and if there is an issue they can contact their contacts at Princess rather then you trying to get through on the impossible customer service line. You can not board in L.A. and then disembark in Seattle. It is a violation of the Passenger Vessel Service Act, PVSA. It does not matter if it is two separate bookings. What matters is that you are sailing between two different U.S. ports without stopping a distant foreign port. Princess will not allow the bookings you suggest.
  3. No for specialty dining. You have to wait until you board. OBC can only be used pre-cruise for Princess excursions.
  4. We will have to wait. It may be fixed DRs, or the DRs could change per cruise or per experience depending on how many passengers opt for each option.
  5. Soda and juice are unlimited. The same with regular and specialty coffees as well as any other non alcoholic beverage. I do believe that non-alcoholic beers are counted as part of the 15 alcoholic beverages. Yes, you can get 16 specialty coffees in a day, more if you want. A note about the juice bar. When I think of a juice bar I think of fruits and veggies being blended up in front of you. This past March on the Ruby there were no juice bars the way I think of them. Each bar had LARA juices from cartons.
  6. Lobster tail night will most likely be the 2nd formal night.
  7. I would not worry about true formal wear, like tux and cocktail dress. Just bring nice clothing. We could take a guess on the formal nights if you provide the date and ship so we can review the itinerary. Formal evenings will never be the last evening before turn around day or boarding day evening.
  8. Regarding elegant dress nights. I can't actually tell you if they will designate any evenings as elegant evenings. The Enchanted Princess does not start its Canada season until August 24th. Maybe at that time you will be able to find out some additional information. There are supposed to be two formal evenings on a 7 day cruise. On your itinerary I think they would be Sunday, the 2nd evening, Newport, and the first sea day, Wednesday. One of these might be designated elegant instead of formal, although there would be little difference in how passengers dress. On my March 2024 Ruby Princess cruise there were some evenings that were mentioned as elegant dress. I did not notice any overall difference in evening dress between smart casual and elegant evenings. The Enchanted Princess has 3 casual meal restaurants, Gigi's pizza by Alfredo, Ocean Terrace, and O'Malley's. There are no reservations. Believe Gigi's is open for lunch as well as dinner. Reservations can be made for specialty dining which is different from casual dining and not included in the plus fare. The Enchanted has 3 specialty restaurants, The Catch by Rudi, Crown Grill and Sabatini's.
  9. Assume other couples will replace them with the same/similar programs and entertainment. Dave's musical abilities beyond the Hawaiian program will be missed.
  10. I would take the time to write an old fashioned letter to John Padgett. The way I see it this terrible episode was caused by Princess' unacceptable customer service, customer service personnel that don't fully understand the English language, customer service personnel that have limited English speaking knowledge, customer service personnel that are housed in noisy offices. Mr. Padgett needs to hear this from someone directly involved with this negative experience. E-mails, text, phone calls will not get the message through. You might even wind up with some future cruise credits. I had a simple change of address. I was not able to change it on line myself. The program would not allow it. Crazy for such a common thing. I kept getting the message contact Princess. I emailed them a number of times. It went on for months. I finally wrote a postal letter to John Padgett. A few weeks later I received a response and the address was changed.
  11. Plus fare. You never see a charge in your on board folio. Up to 15 alcoholic beverages/day that have a menu price of $15 or less. around80 to 90% of all drinks on board, are covered by the plus fare package. You can see the costs on the menus. Some better wines are over $15. In specialty & casual dining venues they show a partial list of wines and such that are available under the plus fare as well as under the premier fare. I also saw this on some bar menus. If your drink is over $15 then you are charged the difference + 18%. If you order an $18 drink your folio will be charged $3.54. If you exceed 15 alcoholic beverages in a day, 6am to 6am, you will be charged the full cost of the drink + 18%. You never see any charges for non alcoholic beverages. They are unlimited. On my cruise this past March I never received fountain sodas. Only canned sodas were provided. They were covered by the plus package. No charge. I boarded in Ft. Lauderdale and I had a drink very shortly after I boarded. No local tax was charged. I think it's the same at most of the ports. I have read that when you board in Galveston there are limited drinks available while you are in Texas waters and they are charged. You then receive some OBC.
  12. Fire Door. Notice that B535 is adjacent to cabin B601. 500 series cabins are in a different fire zone from 600 cabins. You will notice that from forward to aft the cabin series go from 100's to 700's. These are the different fire zones as well as different zones for other purposes.
  13. B535 has a 3rd berth that lowers from the ceiling. It is the 4th berth that requires a roll-away
  14. When you are within the 330 day booking limit go into EZ Air. Find the flights and dates you want. Based on my experience you can book early like you wish.
