Let me start by saying not new to cruising but this will be our first Celebrity cruise. We have the Beyond booked and downgraded our retreat room due to all the negative reviews and cutbacks we heard and the price was just too expensive we found for what you got with a sky suite. We are used to Haven on Norwegian. So we downgraded to a concierge veranda and are no longer interested because of the room and the no balcony. Please convince us this room is worth it! Final is coming up soon! Thanks.

Yeah most likely downgrading to an aqua class veranda so we at least get to eat in blu daily and if its crazy busy we have the spa area. Its half the price!

We have a sky suite booked on a newer build and thinking of cancelling. This would be our first Celebrity cruise but not new to cruising.I love the size of the room in a sky suite but cant justify paying almost 20K for a cruise! Too many cutbacks from what Im reading and negative reviews. I want to downgrade to a veranda or aqua or concierge but i find the rooms look very narrow and small and dont like the looks of the IV. We booked a non refundable deposit so Im debating if I should just cancel all together or downgrade. Final payment is coming up in a few weeks.

We have cruised on smaller ships Jewel class years ago but since the newer big builds came along we loved them and only booked them! Now we are looking at the Pearl never been on her and the ports are amazing! Will we be disappointed going back to an older ship? Has anyone experienced this?

I also prefer no dryer so all my clothes I just mark it on the slip they give you or check off dry-clean which I did for all my clothes and it worked none of my clothes shrank and came back hung on hangers. Choose the dry clean option its the best! We were recently on the Getaway.

We cant decide between a cruise or a resort! Have done both. Multiple cruises and a few resorts.Its for a milestone birthday. We need help deciding love cruising waking up to new islands but don't like being rushed on each island. Im worried we will be bored in a resort with all the cruising we've done! Any advice?
