We actually fly in 2 days early.

We are doing a Mediterranean cruise with NCL in July 2023. We are going round-trip from Los Angeles to Rome using the free airfare. Not really free, but we pay 250 per person. I didn’t bother to look up the actual fight cost, But I don’t think I can get round trip to Europe for that cost on any airline. Might we get really bad flights, yes. But to save what I figured would be at least $1500 is worth it to me.

I just read an article on NBC news that the federal regulators governing the cruising industry is changing the rules regarding refunds. The article did not indicate if these changes apply to cruises that had already been canceled. The new rule states that for any cruise starting in the U.S. And it’s canceled, the cruise line must give refunds. A passenger may choose do you accept an FCC, but it must be a voluntary thing on the part of the passenger.
