That was a very special trip. Love all the animals you got to see.

My friend in the shoes was the teacher for the retreat. He is very colorful in a fun way. It was all about getting out of your comfort zone regarding knitting and thinking outside the box. All very difficult for me but I did learn a lot and gave a ton of new ideas.

I am back from a super fun knitting retreat. It started Thursday morning wheny friend and I drove over to Bellingrath Gardens to spend the morning. Then it was 2.5 days of knitting, laughing and making new friends. The teacher was very good and I picked up several new techniques.

When we moved to Florida from Texas we packed ourselves and used a combination of a cargo trailer, a 16 foot trailer and a 32 foot trailer to move with. Roger made 19 trips with stuff. Two cargo trailer fulls were household items, one was lawn items and all the trips were his hobby items. We bought the house in Florida in September and sold the one in Florida the next August. Big fun.

I love that color. I agree preparing to paint takes much longer then actually painting.

When EVs are all that and a bag of chips people will want to buy them. Until then they will be expensive yard art on dealer lots. I am also keeping my gas stove and my ceiling fans.

Do you.make estimated quarterly payments. It still hurts but in smaller bites and more often. Sigh.
