This will give you a feel of where you will be docked. You get off the ship and across the street is the downtown area. Keith
  2. Nancy is correct. There will not be a Supper Club on your sailing as there will not be a formal night since this is a 7 night cruise. The number of shows and the times vary not only by evening but by sailing based on occupancy and also can vary based on sailing times. There is no way to predict what the times will be on your sailing. Keith
  3. Magic shows, yes. You cannot booked the supper club in advance. As to one or two shows it will depend on the overall occupancy of the voyage. Keith
  4. My guess and I think I am right is there was a system problem so just keep checking and I suspect you will be able to book excursions. Keith

You are right downtown so no shuttle needed. Keith
  6. Vicki, you are very welcome. I am not sure when they will be released. I saw a post either here or somewhere else where someone said they were told they were coming sometime soon I haven't seen or heard any additional specifics. When they are released I am not sure if they will all be released at once or if we will see the first half of 2026 released followed by the second half. I would just keep checking the Crystal website and you might also want to sign up for their e-mails. Keith
  7. Vicki, you are correct. They are not included in the price. 120 days prior to the cruise you may book them. The cost is not charged to your Credit Card. It will be charged to your on board account. They allow for cancellations and the tickets you receive on board will reflect when the excursion must be cancelled by in order to avoid a charge. There is no silly or dumb question. The only one that fits that category is when someone does not ask. I hope you give Crystal a try. We enjoy it greatly. Keith
  8. Ivi, I benefit from a range of reviews. I don't see a one star review being any better than a five star review or a five star review being better than a one star review. A five star review by a lot of people says a lot and a one star review by a lot of people says a lot. The reality is we all see things from different perspectives and for that matter can have different experiences at the same venue but on different dates or even on the same date. I go with the 80/20 rule which also served me very well in business. If I am unfamiliar with a product and 80% of the review are positive or 80% are negative I accept that as fact until I experience it myself. As to the CC reviews. They keep it simple by having nine categories but by doing so they do miss certain aspects that people might want to know about. On the other hand they constrain this a bit by not letting you provide comments under each category if you so choose to do so. Also there are very few things that are perfect or if they are they aren't always 100% perfect and that applies to pretty much everything. When it comes to reviews I do like to read the details when I am unfamiliar with the product and find them more helpful than the actual rating. I do enjoy reading the comments of people on this board who post live reports and reviews on these threads. With NC I have also enjoyed seeing how comments have evolved as the on-board experience has evolved. Keith
  9. Ivi, Even with old Crystal and for that matter some of the other luxury lines the number of reviews written were relatively small. I do recognize four people who wrote Serenity review, including yourself and I recognize one who wrote one of the reviews for Symphony. Sometimes people write reviews on this board and not on the review board. I remember someone did a couple of months ago and I suggested she copy and paste it onto a review for the review board. I doubt travel journalists would write a review on CC. I can't be sure but travel journalists work and ones I have spoken with over the years already have a lot on their plate and I can't see them taking their time to write one here. I also doubt many TA's would write reviews. In fact, most of the TA's that I've met over the years read CC but don't post. Yes, I know there are exceptions as we have some on this board who post. Often people writing reviews at least on the luxury lines are people who have taken their first or maybe a handful of cruises with a line. Speaking for myself, I try to write a review each time as I do on CC's sister site for hotels and restaurants. I do this because there was a time where I read reviews about other cruise lines when I was looking to sail other lines as I do today when staying at hotels or going to restaurants that we have to been to before. I feel that some of these reviews helped me so I have felt I could return the favor by writing a review. Keith
  10. David, I reread what she wrote having read it earlier. There are some items she just described but never said what she thought so if we say that five means excellent maybe there were a couple of items that she thought were very good. Keith
  11. As the legal filings show in general rejected claims by guests fall into two major categories. Oe is that people submitted claims only to have days, weeks or months or a year or more after the claims were submitted full refunds issues by credit card companies and insurance companies. I suspect that in most cases that people forgot to get back to Moecker to let them know about this if their claim was fully refunded or got back to Moekcer and they didn't take immediate action. I don't see they are bad people. They just forgot or didn't know about this. The fact that Moecker is researching this is all good. At the same time, did some people hope to get some additional money, I suspect some did. And has been mentioned often there is a maximum amount for the refund of up to $2,250.00 per person so some will show up in the report of having one a portion of the claim prioritized for payment. I am in that "boat". Even today we hear of people getting refunds from Credit Card companies. This certainly has been a major task for Moecker. In the scheme of things we got our money back from the process sooner than I thought we would. I hope this wraps up soon and folks like yourselves get your amount up to $2,250.00 back. I cringed the other day when I happened to look at the Moecker site as I was curious about what happens next to see all these filings and my first thought is more money being paid out to Moecker, etc for all of the work they continue to do on this first major phase. Is it possible that a few people submitted fraudulent claims? Yes. As we have learned throughout time wealth, education, business experience, sailing on a luxury line, etc., etc. does not guarantee, that each and every person is honest, law abiding and ethical. There are people who have sailed Crystal who have stolen items including dinnerware as we have been told over the years. One time my wife and a friend from this board were in the laundry room having returned from I believe a tour of the Falkland Islands on the 2007 World Cruise.. Our hiking shoes were dirty as were our gloves. After washing my gloves and placing them on the sink counter and turning to tend to the wash, when Anne Marie turned back to pick up the gloves they were gone. One gent had been in the laundry room at the time. Logic says it was him. Was it taken on purpose or by accident. We'll never know. Does the person have a problem? Maybe. Over the years, we have read about famous people who would get caught stealing clothes from a store. Keith
  12. Good point on potential fraudulent claims. Definitely lots of research between what was recovered via Credit Card companies plus Travel Insurance as well. Keith
  13. Moecker has been busy with these court proceedings and this link will show you all of them approved to date. https://crystalcruiseclaims.com/legal-pleadings/ Keith
  14. Ivi that one and all of them are on the Moecker site. This is the one you could not open. Hopefully this will work for you. https://crystalcruiseclaims.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/03.21.24-Assignees-Fiftieth-Omnibus-Objection-to-Claims.pdf Keith
  15. Not following the subject. If I understand this correctly if someone got their payment back from Credit Card or Travel Insurance or some other way then they would not be entitled to getting it a second time. If they got less than the total submitted they could get up to $2,250.00 per person. Keith
