  1. Seems they have blanked the whole protocols thing now... it was all there 20 minutes ago.
  2. Carnival have published their version, though the details of refunds are still blank at the moment.   4. A little over 100 hours. Second person in the cabin tested positive day before we got off. I never tested positive by rapid antigen test, self or ships ones, but have all the same symptoms so suspect a PCR test would have shown it. Isolated at home same as others.
  5. Credits for isolation period. They return onboard purchases to the debit/credit card and return isolation days as a future cruise credit. No idea how long it takes, did ask while on the ship and they couldn't say.
  6. Somebody posted another part of Emerald that was cordoned off and it was speculated that entire section was in isolation. Didn't touch any banisters, and we were 3 cabins in a row isolated that was why. Of course could of been the room steward... Could of been this... and could of been that... could of all got it off the ship and brought it on... like I said it is what it is... Cabin next to us was sick by the second day so almost certain they brought it on. All good... hope they do the credits soon, itching to book for November!
  7. I do wonder about that number... as I could say who at least 6 of those 24 were from my tiny experience getting off the ship and that was just one part of a corridor on Emerald deck. If true and our one section really did have 25% of all cases on the cruise that would really make me wonder if it was the HVAC system. I guess it is what it is.

  10. Did you originally upload a photo/image of the certificate or the PDF certificate itself? Using the original PDF seems to fail, but without giving an error message at the upload time. Had to make an image of it for the system to work properly. Edit: Oh see it sorted itself... well.. there you go.. technology works in the end... sometimes 😄
  11. Extra odd in that I just got emails from two TA's selling on tomorrows, with prices down as far as $60/person/night for an outside. Says can't book online have to call as so close.
  12. Price difference for the one I put in was about $250 for two people, took it with Princess for the other benefits but will probably cancel it if they don’t match. Match is with the actual company Princess use for the tour. The two I was going to match when I found it was gone were $220 and $365 direct, both $600 with Princess. Contacted the first tour operator already and they agreed to refund if we miss the port for some reason, they were surprised how much Princess were charging for their tour. So yes when the difference is $30 I wouldn’t bother, but when it’s $300+ it’s a big difference.

I know it was hit and miss but Princess seem to of removed the Best Price Guarantee for shore tours completely, the form has been taken down, the FAQ section gone and the bit at the bottom of the shore tours page removed. Where it used to say: "If you find the same excursion for less elsewhere, we will offer you 110% of the price difference back to enjoy in the form of a non-refundable onboard credit" It now says: "We offer competitive pricing, friendly service and unmatched destination expertise." Put in a request before they changed it, not heard anything back yet after a week+, and was going to put in another when I noticed it's all gone.
  14. Went to Europe at the start of this year and got delayed after the Ukraine fighting caused flights to be cancelled. Got cancelled exactly on 6 weeks, but also auto restarted instantly upon return about 10 days later.
  15. Well it was US$29 which is AU$41 so they dropped the price a bit in some ways. A few lucky people seem to have booked at the US$ price and been charged that amount in AU$ 1:1 though.
