Nice nostalgic, memories of this style cabin.. I like the light wood.. and layout of the built ins and counter. But it is vintage. It looks like an old couch, same patterned " coverlet" across the bed, maybe same carpet or similar style.,. And still has a shower curtain,,,looks newer..maybe new tile in shower...and updated shower mechanism For us it would be how things function, , Are there enough elec outlets, do phones charge quickly, does AC work well and quietly, do the sink and shower drain well, does the toilet have any issues, how is the water temp and pressure in the shower, does the safe work ok, and does the fridge keep cool? If these all check out Okay, we could be happy !

I was surprised to read of similar issues on a Princess ship in rough weather..(on the thread here that compares Princess and X) "We were on the Enchanted for a 10 day southern Caribbean cruise in Dec. 2023 in cabin # E701 cat. me. We experienced heavy seas the last 3 or 4 days of the cruise. Had much squeaking, knocking and banging. Could not get much sleep for 3 nights. Reported this condition to quest services on the first day and had our room steward acknowledge the noises and he passed this on to his higher-ups. We inquired about a resolution each day to guest services and their manager. No one from maintenance showed up until the last day, and said nothing could be done. Shims have been placed in the ceiling and walls previously to no avail. This is an existing problem from the start in many cabins. The cabin next door did not have this problem but many others have. Research your cabin for noise problems in rough seas. Other then this issue, the cruise was great."

gorgeous...peffect highlights! I am glad we did all this when we were younger and more agile! Now we woukd focus more on museums and of course food!

You have me sold on the CoCo Cay beach club, but finding a cruise for Jan 2026 ( our next slot) may be tricky because some ships will sail from the Orlando area. Makes no sense from Venice Fl .We avoid driving on I 4! Happy you had such a PERFECT DAY!

Great job with the name tags.. The get togethers are different these days but still fun for those who attend. Roll calls are less active due to fb groups and they really do not mess very well. But still fun!

Did you enjoy the presentation by the Exec Chef,,? What was his culinary background? We have always found that the Chefs love to share info!

I read through most of the linked material on the canal expansion...very interesting. While we are hopeful of doing a full E to W transit but would need to save up $$$ for the cruise and return airfare. For now I will follow this thread !

there is no debate for us we are .long time Ceeb cruisers who follow the suggested code...the newer suggestions work fine for us..shorts and flip flops are fine for the buffet..and apparently Roof Top.. no interest in any debate!

neither did we and saw none, but the night of our visit was pleasant but breezy, so shorts might not have been in order..more likely a sweater. The prices are def not casual but guess it's a good option for the shorts crowd!
