Got it, I was hoping for them to add a coastal kitchen and do some refreshing.

I heard Radiance is going into Dry Dock the end of March, does anyone know what they are going to do?

We did the coastal kitchen once and loved it however we were with family who were not in suites so we had to do traditional to eat with them. I will say that yes the waiters did seem a bit stretched thin and our assistant waiter was non existent. What helped us I think was our waiter had tables that never showed up or only showed up one or two nights.

Our waiter said to us if we didn't like a meal to please let him know and we could choose something else. He even checked on us after serving. One in our party didn't like the strip steak and they took it back and got something else. We did traditional dining and food was always hot.

We had a suite which says pillow top mattresses which in our opinion weren't pillow top at all. However, we did sleep really well! We found all the MDR meals were really tasty/good! The at least 5 lbs I gained will prove it!

Sorry yes Victoria we missed! They just stopped the ship to file paperwork. We did not see the Aurora. It was suppose to rain for us but ended up just drizzling and not a big deal. We wore sweatshirt and raincoat and it was more than enough. You'll love the balcony. We did a grand suite large balcony and ended up sitting out there with blankets, watching the scenery. You can get the blankets in the pool area where the pool towels are. Have a great time!

My family and I just got off the Quantam. It was an Alaska itinerary, Ketchikan, icy strait point and Juneau. We were supposed to go to Vancouver but due to a medical emergency they canceled that port. We all had a good time! I'm not going to do a trip report but if anyone has any questions, I'm happy to answer!

Just got off the Quantam and waiting at the gate now for an 11:30 am flight. We walked off the ship at 650 with our bags, were in a taxi and at airport by 730. We had clear, tsa precheck but the long were long BUT we were at the gate within an hour, 3 hours before flight. Any questions please feel free to ask, I know when I was planning I had lots of questions!

Did you carry your luggage off? We have Clear/TSA Precheck too, you need it here in Austin. I understand, now that our kids are grown we tend to avoid the summer and school breaks.

Yes, Zilker park area is nice, close to downtown and the action. We live out by Lake Travis. Makes sense then on the connection. We are taking an American non stop out of Seattle at 11:30 a.m. Do you remember your debarkation and how crazy it was to make an 11:30 flight or did you just take your time and get off leisurely? We've done 2 cruises out of Galveston, it is convenient.
