Could anyone confirm whether a MDR table for 12 people is a possibility for fixed dining on Azura? Our family party size has now grown to 11 people (including 3 children under 4) for our Azura Canaries cruise in November. We're all on Select bookings for 4 cabins, celebrating a big birthday, and the bookings are linked. Thanks

You might try to ask for directions to the metro station at the cruise terminal tourist information desk. But they may be reluctant to tell you as the taxi operators and shuttle bus will lose trade. The lady who directly us was told off by a taxi company official for doing so (my wife understands Italian so overheard this). But it is very easy to find. The metro station opposite the port is named 'Principle'. Exit the cruise terminal building and walk under the autostrada flyover, cross the road and walk northwards up the road opposite in the direction of the bus stops/bus station. The metro station is directly behind the bus station (hopefully you will see the 'M' sign). This is about a 2 or 3 minutes walk from the cruise terminal building. Take the escalator or steps down to the metro station and the line heading towards 'De Farrari', which is 4 stops. De Ferrari station is right in the centre of the city from where you can walk round at leisure. Genoa was one of the highlights of our cruise. Have a great time there.

Just returned from Enchanted Princess which called at Genoa. From opposite Genoa port there is a free metro line that will get you to the centre of Genoa (4 stops). So don't pay for an expensive cruise shuttle or taxi. BTW, we had a great time on Enchanted Princess. Top notch in all aspects. Best Regards Neil

New to Azamara and grateful for all the excellent information provided, which I've enjoyed reviewing. Have booked balcony 6076 on Pursuit and now wondering whether I've made the right choice of stateroom location. I chose a starboard cabin thinking this would be advantageous in terms of sun position for our 2024 South African intensive itinerary, though possibly mistaken in thinking this will be marginally better for viewing sunsets versus number of sea days. From studying the deck plan this appears to be over the door between the restaurant and galley below so I'm wondering about noise? I understand deck 7 is regarded as the most desirable but obviously comes at a cost premium. Though reviews of remaining staterooms, deck 7 included, often refer to noise from crew doors nearby, which are not marked on the deck plans I have seen (interestingly Princess, at least, do show them). Advice/views would be gratefully received.
