  1. Hey T- I sure hope it is not that person that called me with strange offer for either $6000 or $7500. I felt like I was being sold a timeshare.
  2. Sometimes you can go for the back of the Crown Grill and find a little quiet there.
  3. Jimmy- Thank you so much. I have been trying to find something without luck. And I totally agree with your previous post... I think Princess is hoping that people will buy in and then not use it. However, this is nothing like a FCD (at a $100)… I would definitely keep track of 6K for sure. That $6K will be right there in my personal banking account.
  4. I cant' seem to find the threads... I did run a search before I posted. See??? I knew I was late to the party!
  5. You can always ask for a tour. On a side note, even if you are not in a priority boarding group, often there are half-day slots available. It costs $20 for the half day- and given my druthers, I would pick the afternoon vs. the morning. In the afternoon, they serve "Afternoon Tea" at your lounger. It is delightful!
  6. Weighted blankets are so helpful for sensory issues and to address systemic overload... I know this is not entirely helpful- but if you don't want to haul a weighted blanket on board- or attempt to purchase one in your embarkation city- you can request an extra blanket for you bed. You will be offered another fluffy comforter or a fuzzy-ish blanket. If you were to fold those either in half or thirds- length-wise, you would create a little extra weight. You won't get 8 to 12 pounds of proprioceptive pressure, but it will provide something.... Just a thought.
  7. Hi friends- I just received a call from someone at Princess trying to sell a new program called the "Future Cruise Program". Not to be confused with future cruise credits or future cruise deposits. The guy went on and on- and honestly, I am not really sure I could make heads or tails of what he was selling- I did catch the buy in numbers though- between $6k and $7500 (so defiantly not the FCD of $100 that we all know and love). The call did come from a Princess extension and he had access to all of my cruise history... so I don't think it was a scam. The call went on for 22 minutes before I politely ended it. There was lots of (and I paraphrase generously) "But wait... If you order now!" type of speak. I did take notes and for the life of me, I still can't make much sense of the whole deal. Anyone else out there have this experience? Am I really really late to the party? Is this a good thing? Or just a way for Princess to hold a lot of $- possibly to offset the disaster of 2020-2021? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks- TL
  8. In the past, both with the paper coffee card and the digital version, we were never “punched” for the espresso based coffees we enjoyed in Sabatini’s for breakfast. Now? Who knows…
  9. You are absolutely correct. I just checked and I am “blue” on the app. I wonder if this will affect boarding group sign-ups and dining reservations, as well. This is a first for me. I hope they get it quickly sorted- for the sake of all?
  10. Thank you so much for responding. This is shocking. I am wondering if this another attempt to get people to sign up for Princess Plus.
  11. Hi. Forgive me if this has been asked and answered… I could not find anything that speaks to this. We just booked a 19 day cruise for late summer. I was setting up our accounts on the app and thought I would look at the prices of the Medallion Net (Wi-Fi). I am in shock. 1 device is $285 and the 4 device package is $760. Is this an error?!?!? We are elite and platinum so there should be a discount. We just completed a weeklong cruise in January and the Wi-Fi package was $70 for 4 devices. Any insight here? Thanks for any help! TL
  12. I brought my travel Liforme on my last cruise on the Sky. There were no issues regarding the use of my own mat. This allowed me the option of practicing on my own or utilizing a group class. As a matter of fact, the yoga instructors were intrigued by it. If possible, I bring my own mat always.
  13. We were in the Sky the week before you. So glad you had a good cruise. Thank you for the review.
