Complimentary 7 day cruise

Recommended Posts

Wonder how many sucks will think they will really get a free cruise and fall for this crap?

I have a friend who got one and she told me they had to sit thru a 45 minute seminar.

She SAYS they got a 7 day cruise in JUNE on the Conquest in a SUITE.

Sorry, but I am very doubtful that this info is correct.

#1, a free cruise is NOT gonna be in a Suite

#2 a free cruise is NOT gonna be given to you in JUNE.

#3, NOTHING but NOTHING is FREE.

I got one too and mine also went into the circular file.

I hope my friends enjoy their FREE cruise in JUNE on the Conquest.

If I remember that last card we received, it said "oceanview suite".

The fine print also mentions paying all port charges and taxes which people forget includes federal taxes on the full brochure price:eek:

I too, received one of the postcards. Since it had the BIG Carnival LOGO on it, I thought, at first, that it was ligit. I called Carnival, and they didn't have any idea about the card. I then researched it here, and immediately threw it in the round file. Thanks CC, for saving me the aggravation of this scam!

"SKY"

My DD and her BF got the same postcard...when she asked me about it I advised her to file in her special file cabinet that chews up those important papers she files there.

Keep in mind folks that those "companies" that use this type of sales techniques aren't going to have any problem selling any info you give them.

Be wary, someone in our group did win a free cruise on the raffle on the Liberty on the 4/16 sailing though!

the cruises that you win on the raffle while on board are through carnival and are legit. I am going on my second free cruise in two days on the triumph. That post card is a scam, it's for a vacation club pitch. Throw it away.

Has anyone received an offer for a complimentary cruise from Carnival? Was there some kind of catch?

Just got one yesterday and tossed it...looks like its from Carnival but I doubt it as mine had US Airways logo on it as well.

Coincidentally I received the offer earlier this week. Sounds like a wonderful cruise leaving from Seattle and going to St Thomas all on an 8 day cruise.

Even a picture of a Carnival ship without a name on the front of it.

How can you possibly pass this up?

Easily. It went right into my shredder

Got a letter 2 months ago from Carnival Player Club for a 7 day free cruise + 200$ cash to pick up at cashier cage in the casino.

It was a cruise out of Galveston for the may 22 sailing... dont remember the ship nor the stateroom cat.

The dates were not right for me... maybe next time.

I had friends do the "listen to the time share presentation and get a free cruise thing" and:

1. There room was an ocean view cabin

2. The cruise was indeed in June

3. Correct especially after they bought the timeshare:eek:
