Thanks! I'd still love to hear from someone on the CP though!!
FYI, the "CP" is the Sea Princess, which is a completely different design of ship; the Caribbean Princess is "CB." These are the Princess abbreviations for these ships. :)

It doesn't matter whether someone's been on the Caribbean Princess, Sapphire Princess, Crown Princess, etc. as the Dolphin and Emerald deck designs are essentially the same. Here are photos from the Sapphire Princess which shows the extended balconies:

We had cabin E730 on the Caribbean Princess in April. As you can see from the pictures, the balcony is extended. We loved the cabin. Here are some pictures of the balcony.

Sorry to hijack: We've stayed in E730 on the Crown Princess, and had absolutely no problem with noise from the lounge below. How did you find the noise level from Club Fusion on your cruise?

We have stayed in E731 twice on CB. We have been in E730 on Emerald and have E731 on the Crown. Those cabins have the extended covered balcony. The ones on Dolphin would not be covered. Noise was not an issue on the Starboard side. On the Port side there was some vibration from the Bass but wouldn't stop us from booking that cabin if E731 was not available.

We were afraid of the possibility of the noise from Club Fusion keeping us up at night, so we came prepared with earplugs just in case. We did get some bass vibration a couple of nights, but it was not enough to keep us awake or even wear the earplugs which we had brought. Would we book this cabin again? Absolutely! In fact, we have a booking on the CB again for the same cabin.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe D732 & D733 are slightly different from other minis...I'm pretty sure they don't have a tub, only a shower & I believe they have twin beds that can't convert to queen. Dolphin minis are uncovered; Emerald minis are covered.

That is only true of the older Grand Class ships. D732 & D733 (D736 & D737 on the Sapphire & Diamond) were designed as accessible rooms but the doors were too narrow. Princess finally corrected the design with the Crown and her sisters the Emerald and the Ruby. D703 & D707 are true accessible cabins on those ships.

Well, looking on the Princess website, it appears that there is only a shower, but some say the bathroom is quite large, so it may work out OK in that respect, but does anyone know if it's so that the room can't easily be configured for a queen bed? That could be a deal breaker! :p

Hi all,

we where in feb/2011 in D732 on the CB and we where very satisfied with this cabin.

You ""CAN"" convert the two single beds to a king size bed, but then you have to walk around the bed when entering the cabin.

here a few pics

Regards

Bernie

Can the sofa in D732 convert into a bed to accommodate a third person? I can see that, rather than having a three-seat sofa, D732 has a loveseat and a one-seat chair next to it, so sleeping could be difficult.
