We are travelling to Vietnam and wondered if anyone has used an independent local tour company?

We have traveled all over the world using private guides and Xuan was one of the best.

We spent a month in Vietnam. We used some local guides, local tour agencies as required. Either recommended on tripadvisor, other forums, or by our hotel. We booked tours in Saigon, Hue, Hoi An, and Hanoi. We had a guide and car for a full day in Da Lat. We did a 2 day tour, one night homestay in Mekong with someone who was recommended on tripadvisor. Did the same in Cambodia and Thailand.

Vietnam is an amazing country in Southeast Asia. How long do you spend to visit Vietnam? If you have time for traveling, you should visit from the north to the south with the package tour.
