anyone sail the Dream recently and remember what time they called for the muster?

we went and watched the ship sail away a few weeks ago and it left a little after 5 instead of 4. i can't remember what time / how close to sailaway the muster is.

The announced time was 3:30 but as usual it took people til almost 4 to get there. We were afraid we would miss watching the ship turn around as we left but we didn't leave til around 5 so we had time.

Right before sail away. If that is 4 PM then like mentioned 15 minutes before. Just FYI the cruise lines are cracking down on "muster drill skippers." Celebrity took attendance last month. Our last Carnival cruise last year they didn't but they check everywhere.

On Getaway last year they actually scanned each card.

They are counting passengers at muster drill on Dream now.

appreciate all the replies...one more question

the embarkation photo did they take it before you entered the security area where you get your bags xray'ed (right at the top of the escalator)?

they used to do it inside the terminal and it was much easier & less chaotic. am not a fan of the new placement as there is only one line so everyone waits together (FTTF, diamond etc)

We got to terminal at 9:15 for our May 3 cruise and did not see a photographer at all. We realized later after we sailed that no embarkation photo was taken. Since we got there so early they may have set something up later but I didn't see anything in the terminal. First cruise that has happened.

It was last weekend of JazzFest and we were driving in from Biloxi. We came early to avoid traffic and had planned to park and walk to Riverwalk Mall's Cafe Du Monde but decided to just wait in terminal. There were already about 100 people there when we went in. At least no lines!!!

Sailed away on May 17. Photo area was set up just prior to entering the security screening area. There were several spots to get a photo and it was a little crazy with the line splitting and with folks trying to pass through.
