Barcelona to Salou using public transport?

We are going on the carnival Vista next year and when we disembark in Barcelona we are spending the following week in a Hotel in Salou. Does anyone know if there are any buses or trains that go from Barcelona Port (or Barcelona centre) to Salou please? We have been to Barcelona once before but aren't familiar with public transport! TIA

The train leaves from Barcelona Sants to Salou and takes around 1 hour, here is a good link

Have been to Salou a number of times in the past, it's a great place especially for families as there is a brilliant theme park just outside the town (Port Aventura), the little road train that goes around Salou will take you right to the theme park gates.
