iConcierge app question on wifi connection

We've downloaded the iConcierge app on our iPhones, but only want to use it for Pride of America info, dinner reservations and checking our account (all non-fee) in Hawaii. How do we connect for just the complimentary app functions once we are on the ship? (We are not purchasing ship wifi).

Just connect your phone to the ship's WiFi. You won't accidentally be charged for using WiFi service.

BTW, if you don't want your phone to connect to the ship's cell service, first put your phone in airplane mode. This will shut off ALL wireless service including WiFi and Bluetooth. Then turn your WiFi back on while airplane mode is on. You'll have WiFi with everything else still off. If you need Bluetooth, turn that on.

It's not easy for most people to do that. Airplane mode is very easy to do.

or just follow the NCL instructions I provided in post #2 and call it a day....
