Melbourne, top rated city

We are going to Melbourne next March/April.

Australia has some great cities.

Which one comes out on top largely dependson personal interests.

Personally my favourites are Adelaide and Hobart.

Melbourne is Australia's top cultural and sporting city. I visit annually, as It is a great city to visit.

I agree Adelaide and Hobart are wonderful small cities to visit.

I don't know why Brisbane, which is a great city to live, with quality of life, doesn't make the list. Access to beautiful beaches (Sunshine and Gold Coasts), islands (Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands) and hinterland (Binna Burra, O'Reillys and Bunya Mountains).
