Cruise in the Middle East

Haven't done the Middle East cruise, but have done Athens to Dubai/Mumbai twice and found the mixture of people to be the same as our two other Azamara cruises. There was a mixture of nationalities - probably more Brits and Americans, than other nationalities, some Canadians, some Australians etc. Most folks were well travelled with an age range of 50s to 80s - average age was mid/late 60s I'd say.

Most importantly, in general people were very friendly and very happy to have a chat.

  • 2 weeks later...

And i would imagine quite a few expats who live in the region and just want a weeks getaway.

I enticed at least a dozen friends and colleagues to do a cruise from Dubai.

Not that many or any ports would be new to them, but getting away for a week with nice food, drink and entertainment is nice . Everybody loved it!
