Timing question

My flight is supposed to land at SFO at 11:30 am on a Friday. if I Uber or Lyft, would I make it to check into a hotel 2 miles from the Wharf, then to the wharf to do a 2:10 Alcatraz tour? I will be checking 1 bag. Hoping to catch up to a group doing that time. When looking up directions, it's about 40 minutes to my hotel.... :confused:

This issue will be is the flight on time and how long it takes to get your luggage.

Let's say you are pretty much on time so hopefully you would leave the airport around 12:15. Allow 45 minutes to get to the hotel and it's around 1:00 PM. Then you have to check in, etc. If things go well then you would be fine but you just never know if there will be issues particularly with the flight.

I agree with Keith. There are a lot of variables to consider. It will be a hit or miss for catching up with your group.

Keep in mind that arrival time doesn't necessarily mean the time you are deplaning. You could be wheels down at 11:30 but take another 15-20 minutes before you get to the gate and they open the cabin door and still be on time
