Can you request a table with only your party, or is it luck of the draw?

You can request a table exclusively for your party.

With MTD, it's ALWAYS your own party. With traditional, they may seat you with others. We enjoy tablemates, and always request a large table....we like other people!

You can always request it. The size of your party can dictate whether you get it. We have done a few times when sailing with groups. The request has always been honored for us with 5-10 people. Once we had 20, they put us at 3 separate tables, one had a couple "strangers" at it. We didn't care, but they weren't too happy about it and had their table changed.

And this is just one of the reasons we left Traditional Dining when MTD was introduced...just one of the reasons!

If you have traditional dining call your travel agent or if you booked direct call royal and ask to have your reservations cross referenced for dining. The other reservation has to also call.

We always request a table for 4 and have always been happy with what we got. :)
