Blood pressure goes up significantly a week before our cruise.

Flights to Europe and a cruise. BP had been controlled by meds, but went to 185-200 over 120-130. DR changed Rx, but DW can't handle the new Rx.

Dr. says she would stay home.

Is it likely covered by our travel insurance. Booked within 14 days of first payment to cover preexisting conditions.

any thoughts?

You say you purchased it within the required time frame to cover pre-existing conditions. It seems to me that the waiver is in place. If it turns out to be not the case, please come back and tell us why.
