I wonder if a solo would be able to take advantage of this? I know it says for two but usually a solo pays double or close to it.

There was one this winter and another quite recently that didn't apply to us. The one this winter I was acutely aware of as in AZ I get the US pricing and sales....didn't apply to Canada, unfortunately . However, I will certainly have my ears up for July 9th.

I don't drink enough to make the all inclusive drink package something of value to me. I wonder if I could opt for the value of the drink package as OBC instead. That would be of much more value to me.

We don't either. Wish Princess would give you a choice between paid gratuities, drink package or OBC.

Deal sounds good - wish it was available to us in the UK. The prices quoted for a balcony on the Alaska cruise are similar to what we are being charged - without any drinks package or specialty dining ! Maybe one day ..........

Actually, the 11-night Alaska Land & Sea vacations between Vancouver and Anchorage from May to September, 2016 ARE included.
