Looking at ways to communicate with kids on the ship and also with family back home. Anybody use Whatapp of Tinder before. Pro's/Con's?

Have used What's app but it uses the internet and depending on cruise line/ship the internet can be spotty service

Found it easiest to use What's app in port with free wifi

Messaging was easy, the calls were not all clear.

I used Whatsapp and Google Hangout on NCL Epic. Both worked very well in public areas of the ship.

If you have wifi, Viber should work fine.
