Transportation from airport to cruise termial in San Juan

Is it better to get transport voucher from cruise line or take a shuttle/cab from San Juan airport to cruise terminal? Next month I will be sailing on the Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan.

We do a taxi. It's a fixed fee in San Juan, and last time we were there it was around $20, plus $1 per bag.

Get a taxi at the airport. Tacxis in San Juan chrge by zone, There is a chrge for suitcases.

The fare is quite reasonable

Depends on what your cruise line is charging for the voucher. Is it less than the taxi charge?

Sometimes you have to book a return trip with the cruise line in order to get said 'voucher'.

First time there we tried the 'voucher' and we ended up waiting, and waiting for other passengers - some of which were on different flights. On the return trip to the airport we sat on the bus at the pier for at least 45 mins waiting for others to show up. Really wished we had taken a taxi. Plus.... the bus decided to take us for a 'tour' of Old San Juan and then expected a tip for doing it!!

I believe the cab to the airport is $25 plus a charge for each piece of luggage. Definitely, less than taking a shuttle with the cruise line.

It's always per taxi...never per person...the easiest, cheapest and quickest way to get to either the Old Town Pier or the Pan American pier.

Never a better option...use a taxi. Enjoy AOS it's a favorite of our's out of San Juan...looking forward to RCI opening the bookings for May 2018 to book another B2B...although AOS may not be sailing and it may possible be the Freedom...regardless :D

A cab is faster, easier, and probably cheaper. You leave the airport when you want, not when the shuttle fills up.

Going on April 15 booked shuttle which costs more but we get in at 10am and want to be luggage free to enjoy day

There will be 9 of us. Is there any such thing as a taxi that will hold us all ?

They have some white van taxis. Be careful how much luggage you all take or that could be a real problem finding room for all ll the people and luggage You don't all have to go in one taxi,,,,, get more than one if necessary
