Cruising into New York, suitcase question.

NCL has their BAGS program with 9 participating airlines, if you are flying with one of those, you can leave your checked luggage outside your cabin on the last night and see it next time on your destination airport for a cost of $19.95pp. (If the BAGS program is offered in NYC, the page doesn't say that it isn't but IIRC one recent review, at least in NOLA the program wasn't operational)

The trip to any of the airports to checkin the baggage takes easily two hours round trip if not more so I'd say that it isn't worth it. Other possibilities are the hotels (we did this last April as our friends were checking in to a hotel but their room wasn't ready so we left our bags with their bags for the day) and specific storage companies like Schwartz Travel & Storage:
