Noordam 1st Officer?

We're just back from the Noordam July 17th cruise out of Seward. We had a conversation on deck 3 with a man about the stuck lifeboat who was dressed in work clothes. Then he said he was the 1st Officer, but we couldn't catch his name. Does anyone know who this was? He did say he was from Greece when someone else asked.
