Doing Alaska cruise July 23 and have a few ship questions please. What "free" beverages are available in Lido buffet? Lemonade, hot chocolate, iced tea? What kind of entertainment can we expect- Comedians, trivia, Bingo? For this itinerary, can we expect the dome to be closed over the pool the whole cruise? Any answers or tips about this ship or itinerary would be greatly appreciated!

All three you mentioned plus milk, hot tea, coffee

All three you mentioned plus singers, dancers, stage production and movies

Dome will probably be open if not raining and temp over 72

Welcome and sounds like you have done a good job on your homework. As already reported, yes, yes, and yes. We like this ship a lot - smaller, lovely decor theme and all the usual HAL whistles and bells, or should we say soft low-key sounds of a muted harp. You made a good choice for Alaska to take this ship - it gets out of the heavy weekend circuit cruises who chase each other into the same ports on the weekend departure schedule.

But what I always say it other ships get to see the lovely, classic, navy blue hulled HAL ships in their background photos during trips into the fiords, while we HAL people have to see those "other brand" hulking, boxy, behemoths in the backgrounds of of ours.

Thanks so much for your responses! Much appreciated. Another question: Are the movies they show current or older ones. Is there any way to find out what will be playing? Some of our group goes to the theater a lot and doesn't want to watch something at home that will be on the ship.
