Roy, have you ever been on Disney - their itineraries seem awfully short?

No I haven't been. They really have never had anything that looked particularly attractive. I'm a bit puzzled about one thing. Wonder why they use the AJ dock when others are available. I'm guessing it's a cost cutting thing which surprises me It doesn't surprise me with NCL but it does with Disney.

I know sometimes it's a matter of necessity. Serenity has been there a few times this season but always when the other docks were full. I know they are low on the list not only as infrequent and random visits but they were also late in reserving Alaska. Until a year ago they were supposed to be in Europe now.

I'm vividly aware of that as I was booked on Serenity's fall transatlantic. It was a nonstop from Rome to Key West, something like 10 straight sea days, something they do fantastically well. Now they're on the way to their second Northwest Passage,

It worked out pretty well for me. I was planning on taking Amtrak back from San Diego after disembarking the Zaandam this spring but fell back to a Symphony Panama Canal cruise; the one where I met Copper. That Transatlantic would have left too soon to have caught it after the Grand Asia, and now I can look forward to that as well as a Prinsendam transatlantic.
