50% Discount with Drinks Package

Just back from 7 days on Costa Fascinosa....we took the drinks package and found that there was a 2 for one deal in the Samsara and Club Restaurants and off premium drinks not inc in package. Not really publised anywhere

They must be getting desperate to sell!

Just to confirm, if you have the Intenditore package any purchase of drink over the 9 euro limit is around half price. Did not think this applied to all packages though.

Yes ..we had Piu Gusto package and got the discount on premium drinks (those outside Pui Gusto Package ) and meals in the Samsara Rest......2 persons for 30€ supplement rather that 60€

Hi:) sorry I'm a bit confused? Are you saying that it would've been better if you hadn't bought the package? We're sailing on the Fascinosa in March and trying to decide whether the package is worth it or not? What is the average price of a drink..eg whisky and soda and could you tell me more or less how much a bottle of wine is?

Okay prices of coffees/teas 3.25 roughly with service charge.

Wine from 16 'house wine' to 60 for a decent bottle.

Beer 3.50 to 4.95

Package Plu Gusto three glasses of wine, two three coffees or soft drinks a day.

Buy any drink up to 9 euros, some you can split, like a decent whiskey buy one soda (one drink) then the whiskey (1 drink) that then come under the 9euro limit.

Before packages as an average drinkers we spent around six hundred euros, the package now costs us 350.

Thanks! well traveled cruiser but March cruise will be first time sailing Costa - I just find the details about the beverage packages very confusing - like why does it say "Starting from _____ per day?" usually the price is the price!
