Flight time - Conquest debarkation

Hi!

Just looking for someone with experience debarking Conquest in Fort Lauderdale. We did Oasis of the seas last year and it was the easiest embarkation and debarkations We've ever had and no problem making a fairly early flight. Just wondering if conquest is the same ?

Deportations? Why are people being deported?

The ease of disembarking and getting to the airport can very week to week, or cruise to cruise. Weekends are jammed during the cruise season (Nov-April). Yes, Oasis and Allure (or whichever sister mega ship is there at the time) get a bit of priority and get in first every time, due to their size. Conquest doesn't get that priority as far as I am aware.

There are dozens and dozens of threads here on how early a flight you can get. There are people who are willing to risk a flight as early as 8am. Reasonably, you can make a 10am flight if you carry off your own bags and catch a cab.

We are looking at a 10:30 to 11:00 am flight. And we typically use the self disembark option.

For a 10:30 flight you need to be at FLL by 9:00 (earlier is better). If there are no delays (customs/immigration, weather, etc.) and you carry your bags off and grab the first taxi in line you should be okay.
