Thanks for posting this. We love to sail out of San Juan and we are very excited that Freedom is sailing from there. By chance do you know what the second RC ship will be sailing from San Juan? Is it Jewel of Adventure or something different?

Not known yet - at least on any of the normal sites I check for port schedules.

The Freedom starts in San Juan on a Sat to Sat schedule which is Adventure's usual sailing day. Then on October 20, 2018, it does one random 8 night cruise and switches to a Sunday to Sunday schedule which is Jewel's usual schedule.

Thanks, this is great news...love the southern itineraries and finally a ship to get excited about. We've done Radiance class a couple of times there, and while the ship is beautiful, we were always struggling with the limited dining choices and entertainment. I loved the rear safari-themed lounges at the back of the Radiance class, but RCI for some reason wastes that awesome space with private events and art auctions.

Adventure got some upgrades, but Freedom is a big step up.

Love the Adventure, so gutted that she is moving from San Juan.
