As usual, we received our final account, which was in credit, yet my CC was charged 0.66 pence. - how strange!

Order an extra cheese soufflé starter for the table on your next cruise by way if a "fine". Better still ask another bar of soap and take it home. That way every time you wash your hands you will feel that smug inner warmth knowing you've beaten them at their own game :)

It is a weird one, possibly something to do with a pre-authorisation on the card ?

Quite possibly, as we actually ended up $4.55 in credit, quite a result from the $1450 we started with.

As an aside, we discovered we were able to withdraw cash from our OBC, without the usual 3% charge for withdrawing cash by credit card.

I noticed that your cc charge was in GBP whereas the ship bills is USD.

Could it be that the exchange rate was different when they reversed the charge?
