Piedras Blancas National Park, Golfito, CR

If you go to the Windstar website under ports and itinerary you will notice that Golfito is not really the port you are going to. It states that after "a brief stop in Golfito for customs and clearance the ship will sail to Puerto Jimenez." I have not found tours by locals guides here but there are several on Tripadvisor under Puerto Jimenez.

Thank you for the clarification. I've been reading up on Puerto Jimenez and there seem to be quite a few more options there.

We hiked from the Pacific side of Corcovado the last time we were in CR, and I'm wondering if you think there is value from hiking it again from the Puerto Jimenez side? We like to kayak so that would be another choice we would be interested in.

We tend to prefer private tours or small groups, especially where seeing wildlife is concerned.
