New Year's Eve on NCL spirit

NCL has no official dress code for the ship, but does have a few restrictions in one or two evening restaurants and even that is pretty much a "no shorts/tank tops" type of code. There are some nights listed as "Norwegian Night Out" and is about as formal as it gets, but it is not mandatory that you dress to impress if you don't want to on those evenings either. If you wish to dress to the nines on any evening, there is no reason you shouldn't. There have been nights where I have been in Cagney's or Le Bistro in a nice summery sun dress with wedges while couples seated near us were celebrating a big occasion so they were all glitzed and glammed. On NCL you will see everything from floor length sequined ball gowns all the way to basketball shorts and sneakers. I am not a fan of either end of the spectrum and think you can never go wrong with the little black dress and a statement necklace.
