We were on a DCL Alaskan cruise last summer and stayed at the Pan Pacific so I watch the ship come in that morning. This view, however, really shows the magnitude of the ship compared to the bridge! So cool!

That's a great video! Did you take it from the bridge with the camera on a pole? How do you avoid camera shake caused by the traffic going over the bridge?

That's a great video! Did you take it from the bridge with the camera on a pole? How do you avoid camera shake caused by the traffic going over the bridge?

Yes, I steady it with a pole, or just against the bridge structure.

Try to be on deck as you sail out under the Lion's Gate bridge; it feels as if the Solstice will barely fit. And the ship's funnel was actually modified so that it could sail into Vancouver.

Wow, all of that blue sky sure makes it look even nicer. When we sailed out on the Millennium last July it was cold and gray and drizzling...and still impressive. Thanks for sharing.
