Excursions alone

I'm traveling with 14 other people and while we are in Belize, they are going to go cave tubing. This is not my thing. Has anyone done an excursion in Belize by themselves (without their friends/family) or booked a ship excursion by themselves? Is is awkward?

Done many excursions alone, including Belize... Last time went to shark ray alley (booked through shoreexcursioneer dot com) This time, booked through coralbreezetours dot com, to Caye Caulker...

Find a good ship excursion that interests you. You'll meet fellow cruisers and have a good time. Or check your ship's roll call. Often people booking private excursions have room for others. Plus you "know" them already.

No problem booking an excursion alone thru the ship.

Personally I would stick to a ship excursion if I was going solo but a group thru your roll-call would be a good choice too and you could easily meet the others at the beginning of the cruise.

Try a city tour with waytogotoursbelize.com , there should be some people on tour with you on that one. Not much walking required either
