Aruba suggestions in between excursions

Hi! I am sailing on Adventure of the seas with my boyfriend in June. We are in Aruba from 8am-11pm.

We booked two excursions: de palm island from 9am-1:30 and a sunset cruise from 5pm-7.

In between we were planning to explore a bit on our own and walk around the town. Any specific recommendations or tips? Thank you! It will be our first time to Aruba and very excited!

Also- how is the beach at de palm island? Is it worth going to a different beach in between? We will definitely be snorkeling and using the water park while we are at de palm in the morning

Yes, if we plan to do a different beach in between the 2 excursions we would just go on our own (not book another excursion). Just wanted suggestions of what to do and if another beach besides De palm was worth it in Aruba.

We have nothing planned yet for our day in Curacao so we may do beach there instead.

If the sunset cruise is leaving from Palm Beach, I'd go there after DePalm Island, rent chairs and chill until time to board. If you're picked up at the dock since it's a cruise excursion, Nikki Beach about a mile south of the cruie port is a place to go. Regardless, you're not going to have much time between DePalm & sunset cruise.

When are you going? We are also on the Adventure in June and planning excursions for Aruba and Curacao.

  • 2 months later...

Check out ABC tours... we did an all day excursion that was out of this world,

It was in a jeep nine people in each one and did the whole island.

Lots of four wheeling... if you do this wear an old shirt.

Wrap your hair... you will have a blast but be so filthy..

Would do it again in a minute.

We go picked up at the hotel at 8 and returned at 5.
