Allure returning to Port for medical emergency

The Captain just came on the speaker to announce that we are returning to port for a medical emergency. It will be a quick transfer and then we are gone. Thankfully we aren't far from port.

Captain about to advise the harbormaster what the emergency is

Couldn't quite make out what the problem was but the patient is an 89 year old male.

The captain told the harbor master it will basically be a touch and go. Not throwing out lines at all. Pulling up o the dock now.

I don't know if the three lines out, but it's definitely not a touch and go. We've been here for at least 20 minutes after we got back to Fort Lauderdale.

Yeah, on the radio they made it sound like it would be much quicker.

I believe I heard on the radio that four people were getting off. Probably the entire family of the patient. I hope they aren't searching for their luggage.

Heard from my friends. They are OK and eating in Coastal Kitchen!!

We are on Allure now. Been sitting in Port Everglades for some time and groups of people are still getting off. They are currently transferring a middle aged woman from a wheel chair to a stretcher. Definitely seems like there were multiple emergencies.
