Name of Regent's new ship?

So is anyone else curious about the name of Explorer's sister? I know some people were less than enthusiastic about Explorer as a name but I have to admit it's growing on me.

Does anyone remember how much time elapsed between Explorer's announcement and her actual naming? I'm already anxious to refer to this new ship by some name other than 'New Ship'. :)

I think it would be fun to have some sort of 'guess the new name' thread or something...

Maybe Regent should have a Public Poll, similar to the recent poll to name a new polar research vessel:

I think a naming contest could be fun - probably couldn't give the winners a free cruise or anything, but a nice upgrade or some OBC would be nice. I've already penciled in a few names. :D

As for Seven Seas Explorer; that name had been planned years earlier; in fact, Radisson's office had a proposed model many years ago that bore that name. As for the next ship, I would like to see Song of Flower 2.

There can never be another Song of Flower--Much of her appeal was in her size and intimacy, neither of which exists today.

That is freaking hilarious. Yes, after a few you will be "McShipfaced".

We miss the Diamond too, but past is past.

I think they should name it the "Regent Charles," the closest the poor guy appears

likely to get to being King...
